BRYCE L. DAVIS / ORGANIC CONSULTANT
Bryce L. Davis operates Davis Organics, a consulting firm. He has over 15 years experience in creating safe, sustainable and healthy turf areas and landscapes and over 35 years experience as a professional horticulturist. As a grower and retail nurseryman, he has first hand experience with the pesticides and herbicides routinely used in the landscape and horticultural industry. I am an advocate of and practice the use of “native plantings” for sustainable landscapes.
After a lifetime of working daily within the retail and landscape industry, I decided to retire from that and focus entirely on consulting and helping people make the transition from a chemical application to a natural sustainable “organic” approach to both lawn and turf and landscaping. This transistion is not only beneficial health wise, but is also cost effective and reduces dollars spent when an organic program is properly initiated
Within the pursuit and interest thereof within the organics movement and the “green industry” Bryce L. Davis has achieved certifications from and maintains certifications and degrees from the following established organizations and educational institutions.
Bryce L. Davis maintains an active presence within many organizations pertaining to not only the landscaping and gardening industry but also organizations promoting conservation of some of our most valued resources, such as the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Project (of which he is a member of the “healthier alternative working group”, and the Conewago Creek Watershed Initiative Vision Team.
Bryce L. Davis offers organic consulting services to both residential and commercial property owners, business organizations and developers, educational institutions and charitable organizations and foundations. His consultation services can encompass soil testing and analysis of properties, seminars on organic use and principles, hands-on demonstrations of organic practices and so forth.
